Last night (Sunday 7th January) R.E.M front man Michael Stipe and bassist Mike Mills made a suprise appearance at The Zodiac, Oxford, when they showed up at a Robyn Hitchcock & The Venus 3 gig.They performed two songs during the encore, 'electrolite' from the 1997 album 'New Adventures in Hi Fi", and a brand new, as yet, unreleased track.
