Zutons and Evanescence cancel tonights shows

Both The Zutons and Evanesecence have had to cancel two separate shows tonight.

The Zutons @ Latitude 2006 The Zutons were due to play tonight (November 21st) at Brighton Dome but have had to cancel as drummer Sean Payne has been diagnosed with a viral infection and has been told by a doctor to take two days off.

A statement from the band said "It is hoped that Sean will be well enough to continue the bands tour in Manchester on Thursday (November 23). The Brighton date will be re-scheduled as soon as possible and tickets remain valid. Refunds will be available from point of purchase for anyone unable to attend the re- scheduled shows.

"The band apologises for any inconvenience or upset caused. All efforts have been made to continue with the show, but unfortunately a replacement drummer could not be found at such short notice
."

In a separate incident, Evanescence have had to cancel their show tonight at Manchester Apollo. The following message was left on their website:

"Due to a family emergency, Evanescence must unfortunately cancel the show scheduled for November 21st at the Carling Manchester Apollo (Manchester, UK). The band hopes to be able to reschedule the show at a later date and appreciates the support and understanding of its fans. Tickets shall be refunded at point of purchase."
