Keane announce arena dates for 2007

news: Monday 20th November 2006

Keane will be taking to the road on an arena tour in February and March 2007.

The news comes after the band have suffered a recent spell of bad luck; a lighting rig cut short their performance at The Brighton Centre, and their North American tour was cancelled due to lead singer Tom Chaplin’s stint in Rehab.

Now the band have lined up a string of arena dates, starting at Bournemouth BIC on Thursday February 22nd and ending at Glasgow SECC on Wednesday March 7th.

Tom Chaplin added this comment: “Our recent tour has reminded us of why we picked up our instruments and started making music in the first place. After the problems I've had this year, I felt the best buzz of my life getting back amongst the love and boundless enthusiasm of our fans and now we want to take that to another level.”

Catch the band at the following dates:

Thu Feb 22nd: Bournemouth BIC
Fri Feb 23rd: Birmingham NEC
Sun Feb 25th: Nottingham Arena
Mon Feb 26th: Cardiff CIA
Wed Feb 28th: London Wembley Arena
Sat Mar 3rd: Sheffield Hallam FM Arena
Sun Mar 4th: Manchester MEN Arena
Tue Mar 6th: Newcastle Radio Metro Arena
Wed Mar 7th: Glasgow SECC

Tickets go on sale on Friday 24th of November.
