Disappointment for Culture Club fans

the band postpone UK tour

news: Thursday 9th November 2006

Culture Club @ Guildford Live 2000Culture Club have been forced to postpone their ‘Culture Club Reborn’ UK tour that was planned for next month.

A statement from their management blamed the bands heavy recording schedule for not allowing them enough time to prepare adequately for the tour, and rather than deliver a less than ‘incredible’ show, they have decided to link the postponed tour dates to the release of their next single.

The band said “We want to start our tour with the release of a hit comparable to our world wide hits Karma Chameleon and Do You Really Want To Hurt Me. Culture Club sold over 45 million albums, the high standard has been set for our new material, so it is taking longer than we planned, but we feel it’s the right decision.”

For refunds customers should contact their point of purchase.

The postponed tour dates are below:

Thu 7th Dec Manchester Academy 2
Fri 8th Dec Sheffield Octagon
Sun 10th Dec Harrogate International Centre
Mon 11th Dec Birmingham Symphony Hall
Tue 12th Dec Newcastle City Hall
Thu 14th Dec Glasgow Academy
Fri 15th Dec Aberdeen Music Hall
Sat 16th Dec Liverpool Academy
Mon 18th Dec Brighton Dome
