The Farm cancel UK dates

due to ill health

The Farm have announced that they are cancelling their December 2006 tour, due to ill health. The dates were to be the band’s first headline shows in over a decade, after co-headlining 48 Hour Party People & Get Loaded in the Park with Happy Mondays.

The dates affected are:

Thu 07/12 Leeds University
Fri 08/12 Liverpool Carling Academy
Sat 09/12 Sheffield Leadmill
Sat 16/12 Edinburgh Liquid Rooms

Peter Hooton, lead singer of The Farm, commented: “We would like to sincerely apologise for any convenience caused to all those concerned, especially to the fans who had purchased tickets for the dates. We were really looking forward to the shows, especially the one in our hometown of Liverpool

People with tickets should seek refunds from point of purchase.
