James announce tour with The Pigeon Detectives

James will be returning this December for a seven date jaunt around the UK starting at London HMV Hammersmith Apollo on Thursday 9th and ending at Manchester Evening News Arena on Saturday 18th. James will be joined on tour by special guests The Pigeon Detectives.

With a career that includes 10 studio albums, twenty UK Top 40 singles and 12 million albums sold James have also released the first of two mini albums. Titled 'The Night Before' the mini album was released yesterday and it contains all brand new studio material from the seven piece band.

After the recent UK tour the band intend to spend five days recording "naturally and playing together in a big room" with no overdubs and with a view to capturing "something spontaneous". This will make up the second part of the mini album to be released on August 2nd and it will be entitled 'The Morning After'.

They will also be spending the summer playing at festivals, including the Isle of Wight Festival, Latitude, and Beautiful Days.

Sat 18 December MEN Arena, Manchester

Tickets will be priced at £31 for regional dates, £32.50 for O2 Academy Brixton/MEN Arena, and £37.50/£32.50 for Hammersmith Apollo. Tickets will go on sale at 9am on Friday 23rd April and eGigs will have links to buy them then.
