Take That cancel shows but many continue

Courteneers, Parklife Festival, Dot-to-Dot and more will go ahead as planned

Take That have cancelled their Manchester arena shows for Thursday, Friday and Saturday "our of respect" after the horrendous attack on the Ariana Grande show but most other shows in Manchester have been confirmed to continue. Simple Minds and Broken Social Scene performed last night, while The Courteeners have confirmed their show at Old Trafford on Saturday will go ahead as planned. Dot to Dot festival on Friday 26th, have announced they will go ahead as planned unless the police request otherwise as have Parklife on 10th and 11th June.

Elsewhere in the UK, Blondie postponed their show at the Round Chapel in London last night, but no other shows have been cancelled as of yet.

Update:

Ariana Grande's shows at the O2 this week have been cancelled.

Afghan Whigs have moved their show on Friday from Manchester Cathedral to Manchester Ritz.
