American alt rockers The Smashing Pumpkins will return to the UK this November for a seven date tour including two nights at London's O2 Academy Brixton.

The tour will be the first time the group have returned to the UK since 2008,and will also be the first since original drummer Jimmy Chamberlain departed in 2009.

Singer/guitarist Billy Corgan, guitarist Jeff Schroeder, drummer Mike Byrne and bassist Nicole Fiorentino are now hard at work putting the finishing touches on 'Oceania', which will mark their first full album since 2007's 'Zeitgeist'.
