Avril Lavigne announces a brace of shows

Pop-punk princess Avril Lavigne has today announced two UK shows in September this year in Manchester and London, her first in the UK since 2008.

Canadian-born singer, songwriter, and musician Avril Lavigne first burst upon the music scene at age 17. In 2002, Lavigne found global pop stardom with the 6x-platinum 'Let Go', followed by 2004's 3x-platinum 'Under My Skin', and 2007's platinum 'The Best Damn Thing'. Her three albums, Lavigne spawned international hit singles, 'Complicated', 'Sk8er Boi', 'I'm With You', 'Losing Grip', 'Don't Tell Me', 'My Happy Ending', 'Nobody's Home', 'Keep Holding On', 'Girlfriend', 'When You're Gone', 'Hot', and 'The Best Damn Thing'.

Now she's back with her 4th Studio album 'Goodbye Lullaby', released earlier this year and is heading over to the UK with a brand new show. The dates as follows:

Wed 21 September HMV Hammersmith Apollo, London
Fri 23 September O2 Apollo, Manchester

Tickets go on sale 9am on Friday 27th May priced at £32.50 for London, and £29.50 for Manchester, and eGigs will havel inks to buy them then.
