Echo And The Bunnymen announce December tour

tickets go on sale this Friday

news: Tuesday 23rd March 2010

Echo And The Bunnymen have announced UK dates in December 2010, where they will be playing their first two seminal albums.

Following on from the hugely successful and highly acclaimed 'Ocean Rain' shows in 2008, the band make a return to perform 'Crocodiles' and 'Heaven Up Here' back to back, and from start to finish. Singer Ian McCulloch has described the gigs as being a "Masterclass in rock and roll."

Released in 1980, 'Crocodiles' is regarded as a psychedelic post-punk masterpiece. It included such classic songs as 'Rescue', 'Villiers Terrance', and 'All That Jazz'.

'Heaven Up Here' was released in 1981, and is still regarded as a fans favourite. It is one of Rolling Stone magazines top 500 albums ever.

The albums will be performed live on the following dates:

Sat 04 December O2 Academy, Birmingham
Wed 08 December O2 Academy, Glasgow
Thu 09 December O2 Brixton Academy, London
Sat 11 December Olympia, Liverpool

Tickets are priced at £25 (£27.50 London) and will go on sale at 9am this Friday, 26th, and eGigs will have links to buy them then.
