Counting Crows postpone UK tour

American folk-rockers Counting Crows have announced today that they have been forced to postpone their forthcoming UK Tour expected in December due to unexpected personal and work commitments in the USA.

The tour dates have been re-scheduled as below and all tickets are valid for the new dates.

An official comment from the band said, "We are really so sorry that due to a variety of circumstances we have had to postpone our dates in December and disappoint all our British fans. However, we have re-scheduled our tour and look forward to seeing you all in May 2009. It's great that Wembley Arena is sold out and as a bonus we are adding a Brixton Academy show for an even more close up and personal Counting Crows intimate London show. We're planning some really special UK shows and look forward to seeing everyone."

Under the banner 'Counting Crows – Live from Hyde ParkM', ticket holders will be offered a link to download five free live tracks of Counting Crows' live performance from the O2 Wireless Festival in Hyde Park, London. Live tracks include 'Have You Seen Me Lately', 'Colorblind and Anna Begins', plus 'Le Ballet d'Or' and 'Hanging Tree', from their latest studio album 'Saturday Nights & Sunday Mornings'.
