news: Monday 12th May 2008

Neds Atomic Dustbin have confirmed that they will fully reform with the original line-up to play the Astoria in London on Saturday 6th December 2008. The band will play for the first time since in 1995 with original band members Mat Cheslin, and Gareth 'Rat' Pring joining the remaining three Jonn Penney, Alex Griffin, and Dan Warton.

The influential indie-rock band have been reformed with a new line-up since 2000 recruiting the more than capable talents of Now Assassin members Andy King (bass) and Martin Warlow (guitar) to replace Rat and Mat.

In 2007, record label Sony/BMG invited the band to write the track list for a new compilation of their Sony recordings (Some Furtive Years) and, the band all got involved.

And now Dan, Alex, Mat, Rat and Jonn have been in a rehearsal room together for the first time in 13 years, preparing for their return at the Astoria and the gig dubbed, re:united.

Tickets for the gig go on sale at 9am on Friday 16th May and eGigs will have links for you to buy tickets then.
