Guns N' Roses to play London show

Avenged Sevenfold to support

news: Tuesday 16th May 2006

After a twenty-year gap, Guns N’ Roses return to London Hammersmith Apollo to play an exclusive show on Wednesday 7th June 2006, as a special warm-up for their headlining appearance at this year’s Download Festival on Sunday 11 June 2006.

This small show will hold special memories for the Guns N’ Roses camp. Back on 8 October 1987, the band played their first intimate UK show at the Hammersmith Apollo during the Appetite for Destruction tour making this show on 7 June 2006 a memorable night for all involved. This will be the first Guns N’ Roses UK indoor show since 2002’s appearance at London Arena, and is set to sell out even quicker and create a much bigger buzz!

Avenged Sevenfold have been confirmed to support – personally hand picked by Guns N’ Roses themselves! This news will undoubtedly please lead singer M. Shadows, who has previously declared that the ‘Use Your Illusion’ albums are his favourite records of all time.

Tickets cost £37.50, and will go on sale at 9am this coming Friday - we'll have links to buy at that time.
