Julie Fowlis, Rachel Unthank & The Winterset and more
The Folk Awards awards were held at The Brewery in London on Monday evening and broadcast on Radio 2 last night. Folk music is starting to become trendy again and many of the winners and nominees tour the UK extensively. This year the old 'bearded' folk veterans are replaced in the main by young up and coming artists.
