Irish singer, songwriter Lisa Hannigan has announced details of a tour happening in November, to coincide with the release, next month, of her second album, 'Passenger'.

'Passenger' will be Hannigan's follow-up to her Mercury-nominated debut, 'Sea Sew'. The new album will be preceded by the single, 'Knots', which sets up an altogether darker and more personal return for Hannigan.

Hannigan's voice was first heard in 2002, on Irish singer Damien Rice's debut 'O'. For several years she was a member of his band before being fired by the singer and beginning her solo career in 2008.

Lisa Hannigan's tour dates are as follows:

Sat 19 November St Paul's Church, Birmingham
Sun 20 November Norwich Arts Centre, Norwich
Mon 21 November The Duchess, York
Wed 23 November Oran Mor, Glasgow
Fri 25 November St Phillips, Manchester
Sun 27 November St George's, Bristol
Mon 28 November Komedia, Brighton
Wed 30 November O2 Shepherds Bush Empire, London

Tickets will be priced at £17.50 (£19.50 London), they will go on sale at 9am Friday 23rd September, and eGigs will have links for you to buy them then.
