Indie rock quartet Coldplay have announced details of a three date UK arena tour, which is due to take place in December. The band, who headlined Glastonbury and T In The Park this summer, will play three dates as part of a bigger European tour before Christmas.

The tour will be the band's first following the release of their new album 'Mylo Xyloto', which is out at the end of next month, and their first proper tour in over two years. At festivals over the summer, they began their sets with two previously unheard tracks from the record, before launching into fan favourites 'Yellow' and 'In My Place'. The new album is the follow-up to 2008's 'Viva La Vida or Death and All His Friends', which sold nine million copies worldwide.

The tour will also see them play dates in France, Germany, Holland and Belgium.

The UK tour dates are as follows:

Sat 03 December SECC, Glasgow
Sun 04 December MEN Arena, Manchester
Fri 09 December The O2 Arena, London

Tickets priced at £65, £55 and £47.50 will go on sale at 9.30am this Friday, 23rd September, and eGigs will have links for you to buy them then.
