After a momentous year for the anti-fascist movement, they're staging an Xmas party to celebrate what's been achieved, and to raise much-needed funds for next year's crucial campaign against racism and the BNP.
Held on Tuesday 15th December in London's Proud Galleries, in Camden the evening will host a reunion of the Love Music Hate Racism All-stars.
The night will feature acts who performed in front of 60,000 people
out in Budapest at the Sziget Festival in Budapest as part of the Love Music Hate Racism's contribution to the vital task of kick-starting a bigger anti-fascist movement in Hungary there in June.
An eclectic line-up of the highest pedigree is coming together to play for
the cause once more. For this one-off and unique show members of some of the
UK's best up-and-coming bands including Sam Duckworth along with his Get Cape. Wear Cape. Fly band, Bashy, MPHO, Jimmy Pursey(ex-Sham 69), The Last Skeptik, and Hobbit plus a special guest appearance from poet/rapper & political activist Lowkey will join together to form a one-off super group playing classic tunes with a fresh twist.
The event will be topped off by DJs including Jerry Dammers (ex-Specials), and Man like Me performing a special DJ set. Support comes from rising r'n'b star Bluey Robinson. Magicianing on the night will be provided by Ollie Mealing.
Tickets are only £10 in advance and (if there are any left) £12 on the door on the night. And doors are from 7.30pm-4am. To buy tickets click here.
