Limp Bizkit to get rollin' again with world tour

original line-up to rock again

After an eight year break Limp Bizki have announced their getting back together, recording a new album, and hitting the road on a world tour in the spring, with festival appearances planned.

The nu metal band will reform with the original line-up of Fred Durst, Wes Borland, Sam Rivers, John Otto, and DJ Lethal. Guitarist Borland quit the band who fused rap and metal in 2001, and the band split up in 2004.

Fred Durst and Wes Borland said in a joint statement, "We decided we were more disgusted and bored with the state of heavy popular music than we were with each other. Regardless of where our separate paths have taken us, we recognize there is a powerful and unique energy with this particular group of people we have not found anywhere else. This is why Limp Bizkit is back."

The band who enjoyed worldwide success with 'Rollin'' from the 2000 release 'Chocolate Starfish and the Hot Dog Flavored Water' will kick off a world tour in the Spring and dates on the European festival circuit including Germany's Rock Am Ring.

A new album, which would be the original group's first full-length effort since 2000. More details of the album, tour, and festival dates are yet to be announced.
