Guitaring legend B.B. King, the reigning king of the blues, is to come out of retirement and return to the UK to embark on four arena concerts in June 2009.

The blues guitar icon will team up with the legendary British blues virtuoso John Mayall to share a double bill for what is set to be one of the most spectacular rhythm 'n' blues concert tours ever to hit the UK in years.

The tour kicks off at Manchester MEN Arena on Wednesday 24th June, and will also take in venues the Birmingham NIA, Cardiff CIA, and London Wembley Arena.

The three hour concerts will see John Mayall perform the first half, with the second half performance by B.B. King.

The pair's tour dates are as follows:
Wed 24 June MEN Arena, Manchester
Thu 25 June NEC Arena, Birmingham
Sat 27 June Cardiff International Arena, Cardiff
Sun 28 June Wembley Arena, London

Tickets will go on sale from 9am, Friday 6th February, priced from £39, to £45 and eGigs will have links for you to buy them then.
