Week Of Rock acts announced before Kerrang! Awards

Soulfly, Kids In Glass Houses, Kerbdog, Skindred, Alexisonfire, and more


Kerrang! Magazine has announced the return of the Kerrang! Pre-Awards shows. The Week Of Rock will lead up to The Kerrang! Awards, on Thursday 21st August 2008.

The acts confirmed to play at The Barfly in Camden and the University of London Union from Saturday 16th to Wednesday 20th August include Soulfly, Kids In Glass Houses, Kerbdog, Skindred, Alexisonfire, Slaves To Gravity, Anti-Flag, Cancer Bats, You Me At Six, Bring Me The Horizon, Avenged Sevenfold, and Turisas with more names still to be confirmed for the one off intimate gigs. For the full list of acts confirmed so far see the gig list below.

The Week of Rock dates are as follows:

Saturday 16th August
Soulfly, Gama Bomb, Trigger The Bloodshed - University of London Union
Kids In Glass Houses, In Case Of Fire - Barfly (matinee)
Kerbdog, Slaves To Gravity, The Computers - Barfly

Sunday 17th August
Skindred, Exit Ten - University of London Union
Alexisonfire, The Ghost Of A Thousand, Hexes - Barfly

Monday 18th August
Anti-Flag, Cancer Bats, Black Lungs - University of London Union
You Me At Six, We Are The Ocean - Barfly

Tuesday 19th August
Bring Me The Horizon, Sylosis, The Legacy - Barfly

Wednesday 20th August
Avenged Sevenfold, Year Long Disaster - University of London Union
Turisas, Raven's Creed, Witchsorrow - Barfly

Tickets will be on sale from tomorrow, Friday 11th July 11 at 9am, and eGigs will have links for you to buy them then.

They will be priced at £15 in advance - except Avenged Sevenfold which is £20. All shows at the ULU are open to those 16 years old and over - and ticket buyers are limited to four per person. All shows at the Barfly are open to those 14 years old and over and tickets are limited to two tickets per person.
