After their self imposed hiatus Coldplay have announced they will be performing a free show at London's Brixton Academy.
Taking place on Monday 16th June, the gig will coincide with the release of Coldplay's new album, Viva La Vida or Death And All His Friends, on June 12th.
Tickets will only be available through competitions held on www.coldplay.com and no tickets will be made available through the venue or other sources.
The band today also made a sneak preview of the new album available via a free download on the band's official website.
