British International Motor Show Music Festival announces a host of acts

Alice Cooper, Chicago, Meatloaf, and lots of Eighties stars


The British International Motor Show Music Festival has announced a collection of world-famous live acts who will perform nightly concerts in the purpose-built dockside arena each night of the Motor show.

The line up includes Alice Cooper, Chicago, Meat Loaf, UB40, Status Quo, Squeeze, Here and Now 80s Tour (featuring Bananarama, Belinda Carlisle, Paul Young, Toyah, Kid Creole and the Coconuts, Midge Ure and Nick Heyward), Deep Purple and Jools Holland featuring Marc Almond. There are two final artists to be added to the line-up who will be announced shortly.

The British International Motor Show is open from 10.00am – 9.00pm daily. The actual concerts commence at 9.00pm with doors at 8.00pm.

Music Festival tickets will be sold separately but include free access to The British International Motor Show on the day of the concert giving you two shows for the price of one, saving between £10 to £14. Ticket prices: £ 25.00/ £30.00/ £27.50 / £32.50 – Wheelchair spaces are available with Carer free (All tickets subject to booking fees). To buy tickets click here.

The two week extravaganza in London expects to attract over half a million people, making it the biggest show in the UK.

With over six hundred cars, 60 car marquees, plenty of global premieres and interactive features, the Show appeals to everyone from car enthusiasts to families looking for a day out.

IMIE Marketing Director Kirsty Perkinson said, "This year's show is set to be even bigger and more exciting than ever before. Whilst we have the largest collection of cars under one roof in the UK, the Show is not just for petrol-heads. With fun features like the Kidz Car Zone, the Marine Experience and all new Motor Show Music Festival, there really is something for everyone."
