Hi all Petewasbristol here from efestivals forum here to talk about a new band.
The band in question is called The Upper room and they were signed to SonyBMG 3 years ago and have since been in the process of building up that first album while touring with the likes of Hope of the States,Longview,Electric Soft parade and Mooney Suzuki. Anyway the Debut album has just been completed with the help of Paul Schroeder (Stone Roses) and from what i have heard it is going to be one of the albums of next year. The Sound is a bit of a cross between the Smiths-Longview-Kinks-Delays. Very upbeat songs with amazing lyrics which if you study close actually mean something!!
I saw the guys when they first started they were third on the support acts for Electric soft parade 3 years ago and i have now become good friends with all the band following them everywhere they play, i really believe in this band so much and I hope you enjoy them as much as i do.

p.s debut single 'All over this town is out early next year so listen out for it, the video is stunning (made by the streets video producer) and the song is awesome, nme described it as a beautiful piece of sunshine in one CD!!.
