Interested in Glastonbury?! After the huge success of their last event
(31/5/05), Curious Generation continues the popular One Night at The
Marquee live music series by showcasing the cream of Glastonbury 2005
unsigned music talent at London's 'Marquee Club' on June 16th, 2005.

The event plays host to all the winners of this years Glastonbury unsigned
bands competition: The Mad Staring Eyes (John Peel Stage winners),
The Bellagios (Dance Stage winners), Whalebone Polly (Acoustic Stage)
and Duke Raoul (Oxfam Stage). Hotly tipped acts 'Belle Park' and 'Rain' also
play with DJ's True Confessors completing the outstanding line-up. With
Glastonbury 2005 starting exactly one week later, One Night at...The
Marquee is the perfect warm-up for the world famous festival.

This specially arranged event is going to be amazing. Spread over 3 floors,
it's a great opportunity to see the most exciting new bands playing at this
year's festival and get a flavour of Glastonbury in the heart of London,
especially if you didn't manage to get a ticket for the festival.

These acts already have a big buzz about them - 'Whalebone Polly' featured
on Radio 1 courtesy of Rob da Bank, The Mad Staring Eyes, are
described by XFM as the must have, must see band of the moment and
Michael Eavis (Glastonbury festival founder) described ˜The Bellagios
˜You're looking for a band that have that little bit extra and The
Bellagios have just that.

One Night At…The Marquee continues Curious Generation's work with
cutting edge bands/artists which has fast become a favourite within the
music industry with MTV, NME, Japan's Fuji TV and all major record labels
previously attending. The series showcases some of the most exciting
unsigned music talent in the industry and covers all contemporary genres,
but crucially is geared towards both the public and the music industry by
helping promote, develop and discover the future of the UK's music talent.

I have never been to an unsigned band event like this. Amazing.
