Just bought 4 tickets
Tickets are priced between £40 and £85 - a little steep me thinks

Which venue did you get tickets for? I'm saving my code for the Dublin concerts.

I hope I get tickets - just booked flights and appartments for 5 days in Dublin

I'm in Ibiza for 2 weeks in June so I had to book the millenium stadium in Cardiff on a bloody Wednesday night !! Will probably book a couple of days off work though and stop over.
If I had a choice I would have booked Twickenham on the Saturday

I'm confused, wouldn't the support acts for all uk dates be the same (I hope that they are, since I am going to the first manchester date, and want to see the killers again after the nme awards tour)

Nope. Usually U2 will take a band on the road with them in the US, and then mix up the support acts in Europe. So far I think that Snow Patrol, Keane, Franz Ferdinand, Paddy Casey, and The Killers have all been named as european support acts.
Last time round each of the 4 london shows had a different support act - Kelis, PJ Harvey, Nelly Furtado, and JJ72.

Tour starts in America tonight, can't wait to hear the reports from the shows. Some people who were waiting outside a dress rehearsal in LA were invited in to watch the show - lucky tw*ts!
They said that the opening number was City of Blinding Lights and they finished with 40.
Can't wait til June!!!
