I went for the first time last week and have to say its my new favourite place to see bands in London! So mini with a cool bar, its kinda odd cos its in a shopping centre, close to the tube and they somehow manage to sell carling that doesn't taste of wee! - seriously, I kid you not!

What does anyone else think - whats been your fave band there?

Yup, very good venue. Seen a few bands there. Best has to be Elbow. You were JEW-ing there weren't you? Shit, I wish I went now!

I cannot stress enough how good JEW were there. Would love to see LTJ or maybe Ash play a gig like that there. Immense.

I've seen a few bands there. Jimmy Eat World was pretty good, probably the best.

I dunno. It's a nice venue, I love getting upstairs and getting a seat haha

saw MCR there when they werent too big and in a small venue they excelled, much better than there later efforts at the brixton academy.

astoria still rules in my mind though smile.gif

I agree it is an excellent venue, however my fave small venue has to be The Borderline!
