Idlewild will be releasing their new album on March 7th.

A small acoustic tour will take place in January, followed by a full tour in March. See you there.

First play of their new single is on Steve Lamacq on radio 1 on 3rd January 2005.

According to the website there will also be some sort of announcement made.

I pulled the list off the Idlewild webpage (having only paid full attention to the Manchester one when it was announced) and it didn't have the 21st one on there.

Heard some new tracks on Lamaq last night his show who to listen out for in 2005 was really good.

Suspect I might try and get to the Manchester gig though I was unimpressed last time I saw them - not a patch on their old selves.... where's the angst gone ?

Anyone else go see them? Or was it just me?

What did we all think?

I thought it was a crackin gig - slightly unusual with it being acoustic an all, and the drummer looked a little lost for something to do at times. But the classics came across well acousticly and the new stuffs sounding good.

I can't go to their April Manchester gig as its on the 23rd and im going to be in one of two other places............im guessing though they'll be taking in a few of the festivals so i'll wait and catch them then.

Found out today one of my mates is going to the Manchester date... makes me wanna go

I am very much looking forward to their return, i have heard good things about the new album, and they have been touring the US with pearl jam, and as far as I'm concerned their isn't a better live band than Mr Vedder and the boys

Saw Idlewild last night at Nottingham Rock City and they were brilliant.

Nothing more to say really apart from go and see them you wont be disappointed.
