Yup. 'Twas quality. The Boogaloo are promising some more 'big' acts playing secret shows between now and Christmas. I'll let you know when I hear anything.

Agree - totally brilliant and i have my astoria ticket in hand - the venue sold out weeks ago. Robbing gits on ebay are making a fortune too as usual!

When i saw them, the band was on for some of the songs, and then they left the stage every now and then to let Conor do some solo. But i guess he'll mostly be playing stuff from the latest 2 albums now, so i dunno what it will be like.
little_miss_star
ok cheers anyway
I guess I'll see in a few weeks biggrin.gif

Well, saw them in Portsmouth the other day and have to say it was very, very good. The sound quality was excellent, Conor was spot on and so were the band. He talked to the crowd a lot too, which was nice.
Only downside was that he only played 3 songs that i know (ie pre- 'digital ash ...' and 'i'm wide awake...'). But he did play 'Padraic my Prince', which was great.
Also i'm scared my girlfriend wants to marry him.

Yeah I saw them last night in Leeds, it was very good. Similarly I only knew about 3 songs in the whole set as I hadn't given the new albums enough of a listen, but the new stuff sounded quality

what were rilo kiley like? i'm so looking forward to seeing them now. i have 'portions of foxes' on repeat at the moment.

and he better play bowl of oranges!

Rilo Kiley were rather good, wish I'd got there earlier/spent less time at the bar as I only caught 2 songs and they were excellent.

He didn't play anything from 'Lifted....' in Portsmouth sad.gif

Rilo Kiley aren't really to my taste but they played their songs very very well.

Saw them last night and thought they were really good. Considering I have heard before that its a bit hit and miss as to whether conor is good or not.
But yeah really good night
little_miss_star
they are touring with The Faint in Late June.
I hope my A levels are out of the way! Last one on 22nd June I have my fingers crossed!
