A very big thank you to all who attended the festival. Heavy rain leading up to the festival meant Glastonbury style conditions, with everybody having a muddy good time rolling around in the mud, having mud fights and even mud surfing on sledges. It was warm and dry on the day without a drop of rain and the vibe was good with everybody seeming to be having a good time.
Hartlepool band The White Negroes headlined the event, with other acts including Radio Dynamics, Sex Generals, Band of Mojos, The Reverse, Shrug and Sugarstone. All the bands received a good reception and the crowd were very happy, as happy as pigs in muck you could say! Once the bands were finished everyone enjoyed the music in the bar with dancing on the tables until late! A big thanks to everybody who volunteered and helped out with the festival - we couldn't do it without you! And the fact everyone worked so hard in the rain leading up to the festival is just brill - thank you! There are photos of the festival on the website, www.pigpen.co.uk. and also on facebook under "The Pig Pen Music Festival." A video will be added soon. Please send us any pics you may have - we would love to see them!
Thanks again to you all and look forward to seeing you in 2009!
