a could be a bit of a dick and point out that they arent emo in the truest sense of the genre if anything they are 4th wave emo but then ad be a bit of a fool as that technically is still emo

if your after real emo check out fugazi, rights of spring, texas is the reason or embrace (the one with Ian Mackaye in it not the british band) all beautifully created music or take a side step in to some screamo like orchid or seatia a just hope "Emo" goes the way of nu metal and fizzles out for the next trend as when lazy journalism calls band like MCR emo a get a little bit annoyed TBH they may sing about stereotypical emo ideals but they are pop punk god a sound like a reet snob
