The mighty Aereogramme are supporting Hell is for heroes....can't wait, it's the first time they've been this far south!
They sound kinda like Mogwai but with vocals and more programing, and they get really heavy in places.

Also, Martin Grech is at the Railway in Winchester, Oceansize are at the Joiners Arms and Andy Smith from Portishead is at the Soul Celar in Southampton...lots of things to go to!.... Not enough cash for it all!

ere' they sound a bit good, I like a bit of Mogwai me... and if you say they have more programming and get heavier than that is what I think is missing from Mogwai sometimes... where is this gig anyway?

Thats at the Wedgewood rooms, supporting Hell is for heroes, who I've never been to keen on to be honest!
If you like the sound of that check out 65 days of static, they have an album called the fall of math, similar but with really good beats and instrumental. Seen them at the Joiners a few times and they kick arse! They have some mp3's on their site www.65daysofstatic.com
Did i send you a cd in a cd swap a while ago? If it's you then Aereogramme are on there.

i saw them supporting hell is for heroes on the last tour i think, it was at the astoria. May have been a band other than hifh tho.

aerogramme were quite good at the astoria, but they werent very good at the wedgewood rooms. Surprisingly i thought the first support at the wedgrewood rooms called iodine (guy from kerrang's band) were really good, when i expected them to be shit.
