Yes, this is my band so this is a shameless plug biggrin.gif

blindSummit will be supporting Yorkshire Bone at the Pack Horse in Leeds (near the University) on Thursday 18th November. It will be, at most, £2 to get in but will probably be free (unless we get any other bands on that actually want paying !). If you're planning on going, PM me and I'll make sure you're on the guest list smile.gif

We will be doing a variety of rock & punk covers (Clash, Ramones, Wreckless Eric, Primal Scream, Talking Heads, Undertones) .... badly laugh.gif

Yorkshire Bone are an extreme noise duo, who use plenty of feedback and mental drum machine beats - worth seeing (just bring your earplugs)

Edit (17/10) : additional support will be from someone calling himself Van Der Milk Slobovic (hope I've got that right) who "does something with bees". As when Filthy Turd supported us last time out, this should make us look better than we are laugh.gif

We've been better :-/

Unfortunately, the first band (Scandalous) turned out to be very, VERY good - doing covers like us but much more rock and metal orientated. They did Ace Of Spades, Sweet Leaf, Won't Get Fooled Again and loads more .... but did them amazingly well. Consequently, we were very nervous and put in a below-average performance which, after Scandalous, made us look really shit sad.gif

Then I stood on Yorkshire Bone's sequencer as I was packing my drums up and thought I'd broke it so I threw a hissy-fit blink.gif

Other than that it went well laugh.gif

We're undeterred though and getting moving with rehersals and a thinned-down set early in the new year smile.gif

Gah, blindSummit have split up - our singer decided to call it a day ... pressures of work and two young children being the main reasons. No hard feelings from anyone.

We will not be recruiting a new singer, but are considering continuing as a three piece, with either a bluesey feel or going down the Mogwai route. So we may still be at Leeds '05 laugh.gif
