Posted 02 May 2012 - 10:07 AM
Following overwhelming demand from fans longing to see the Swedish megastar, the first release of tickets with complimentary after show passes have completely SOLD OUT! But fear not, for those party-goers a little slow out of the blocks, there is a lifeline. The second wave of tickets is available now! So you’ll have to be quick off the mark to ensure you’re there!
Joining Avicii to celebrate the double Jubilee bank holiday in style will be Dutch house supremo Chuckie. Renowned for his tracks ‘Let The Bass Kick’ and ‘Aftershock’, Chuckie is a worldwide DJing phenomenon whose explosive beats and ability to cross styles effortless never fails to win over legions of fans whenever he plays.
The meteoric rise of progressive and electro house DJ, Hardwell, continues apace having gained high praise from dance luminaries for his breakout bootleg ‘Show Me Love vs. Be’. Having made a name for himself for his fresh and open-minded approach to music, Hardwell’s identity and musical development can be summed up in a single phrase; big room house.
Swedish duo Alexander Björklund and Sebastian Furrer AKA Cazzette will also be joining the bill. Already supported by David Guetta, Tiësto, Swedish House Mafia, Avicii and Martin Solveig to name a few, these young Swedes are about to take over the world with their infectious take on electronic music - simply coined Dub House.
Opening proceedings on the night will be Kiss stalwart Steve Smart. Providing the soundtrack to the weekend for countless ravers across the country, Steve is one of dance music’s leading lights showcasing the hottest new dance music around who regularly destroys dancefloors across the globe.
As the very first time many Brits will have had the chance to see the 22-year old icon live in action, and with the insane shot to notoriety Avicii has experienced over the last 24 months with hits such as Levels, Fade Into Darkness and Seek Bromance – not to mention his recent performance alongside Madonna at Ultra Music Festival 2012 – it comes as no surprise that the first batch of tickets have gone in a flash.
"I have to say I’m completely blown away by the response from my London fans” said Avicii after hearing the first wave of tickets had sold out. “I haven't played there for two years so to come back with my first solo show and to have such an amazing start has been overwhelming.”
To add yet more excitement to the pot, fans can now watch the brand new official teaser video in preparation for June 4th.
