The Glasgow Barrowlands Ballroom is set to close, as the company which stages gigs there is putting them on elsewhere and its kind of falling to pieces.

It was the best venue in glasgow (although king tuts is great too before scott yells at me).

So now I'll have to go to the academy instead.

bollocks. Thats crap news. That place had a fantastic vibe - even if it was in the shittest neighbourhood in the country.

So whats gonna happen to it?

it's not closing, go to the official site, it specifically says that it's not closing and there are no needs for petitions or anything...
