BLUES and ROCK
THE HAMSTERS on stage 9.30 to 11.00pm
JOHN OTWAY on stage 8.15 to 9.15pm
Performing over 3500 concerts in 18 years, the guitar, bass and drums trio The Hamsters has long been established as the UK's premier blues-rock attraction.
Tonight it will be showcasing material from the new studio album 'Open All Hours' and the concert video 'To Infirmity and Beyond'. Expect shades of ZZ Top and Jimi Hendrix in this powerhouse stage act.
Special guest this evening is national treasure John Otway, whose brand of musical lunacy blends well with The Hamsters' humour-tinged rock.
John scored his second chart hit a couple of years ago with 'Bunsen Burner' and shortly before that sold out the Albert Hall. To hear him in performance is an experience!
Please note that there will be very limited seating for this concert.
'The Hamsters are fabulous: one of Britain's very best live bands'
Bob Harris BBC Radio 2
