It seems to me that the South West has very few decent music venues. please correct me if im wrong, but there dont seem many places for 'larger' bands to play. I'm gutted i missed Muse and Feeder at the BIC, and there doesnt seem anyone/anywhere else coming up....

yup there's Exeter University, Exeter Lemongrove, Exeter Westpoint, Exeter Phoenix and The Cavern in Exeter. As Muse come from Exeter they occasionally play JohnGandy's under various nom de plumes.

Plus Plymouth Pavillions

The Opera House is Bournemouth is trying to get started as a venue for live bands... So watch this space i guess. Fingers crossed cos it's an awesome venue for live acts, with the big stage and tiered seating round the balcony.
