Tiga + Jesse Rose + Kids On Bridges Just Added To Creamfields 2010 Line Up Tiga is the latest addition to this years all star Creamfields line up, which returns to Daresbury in Cheshire on August Bank Holiday weekend. Canadian born Tiga has risen the ranks to become one of the world’s most in demand electro DJ/Producers whose remix talents have been called upon from the likes of Depeche Mode, Human League, Scissor Sisters, and Soulwax to name a few. Tiga headlines this year’s Mixmag Arena and will be joining the likes of Switch, Kissy Sell out, DJ Mehdi, Alex Metric, and BBC Radio 1’s Jaymo & Andy George. Other new acts announced include Jesse Rose, the Berlin based house music producer and DJ who is attributed with having kick started the ‘fidget house’ movement along with fellow jock Switch aka Solid Groove, Jesse performs on the Strongbow Stage on Saturday 28th August. Another addition is Kids on Bridges, the band which have previously supported the likes of Gary Numan and Little Boots were once described by the late Tony Wilson – founder of Factory Records – as having “the mouth of Liverpool and the swagger of Manchester”. Their electro pop sound has gained the band a loyal fanbase with their MySpace alone hitting well over a million, you can catch them performing on the Main Stage on Sunday 29th August. Following the success from last year, the Jägertruck returns with a jam packed line up of talent. The strident orange truck which converts into a mobile music arena will see performances from the likes of Cassette Jam, LMP DJ’s Adam K & Tom Dillon Koenig, Rich Furness, Lee Rands, Chris Mimo, Andy Woods, Autophase, Thomas Tuft, Steve Parry, Andy Newland, Paul Nunn & James Glover, Michael Paterson, Mark Mac, Adam Helliwell and one of Liverpool’s biggest DJ’s Anton Powers who joins the bill in the Swedish House Mafia Arena. LMW & Mellowtone Present Liam Frost @ Leaf Café Bar Thursday 15th April 2010 We are pleased to announce folk singer/songwriter Liam Frost will be performing at Leaf Café Bar in Liverpool on Thursday 15th April. Liam who has been described by Guy Garvey (of the band Elbow) as “the UK’s answer to Bright Eyes”. His heart warming song writing skills are where this boys talents lie, and has seen him share the stage with the likes of Elbow, Badly Drawn Boy and The Magic Numbers. Frost spent early 2006 in the studio working on his debut album, with Coldplay producer Danton Supple, which was later released with critical acclaim, with his track ‘The Mourners of St Pauls’ voted #1 single of 2006 by Channel 4’s Planet Sound. His latest album entitled ‘We Ain't Got Money, Honey, But We Got Rain’ which was named after a poem of the same name, saw him collaborate with singer songwriter Ed Harcourt and Martha Wainwright. April sees Liam tour the new album across the UK, with this stop in Liverpool at the uber cool Leaf Cafe his first since his appearance at Liverpool Music Week in 2006. New York electro pop duo Shy Child are responsible for cowbell hit singles such as ‘Drop The Phone’ and ‘Noise Wont Stop’. With two new female members on synthesizer duty, the expanded 4 piece toured extensively with another nu-rave band on the block The Klaxons in 2006 and 2007 which soon built up a cool and faithful following of fans, that includes the likes of Bjork, Paul McCartney and daughter Stella, who after seeing them perform on ‘Later with Jools Holland’ duly invited them to perform at Fashion Rocks at the Royal Albert Hall. Their ‘Liquid Love’ album has comfortably confirmed their universal appeal, and we welcome them to Liverpool for this very special event. Supporting Shy Child are electro-techno trio Dogshow, which consists of two brothers on music and a russian on lights!   5. LMW Presents Bad Lieutenant @ The Masque Sunday 21st March 2010 We are pleased to announce Bad Lieutenant @ the Masque Theatre on Sunday 21st March, for their Liverpool debut. The band which was formed in 2007 was built on the sainted heritage of New Order and Joy Division, consisting of frontman Bernard Sumner (Guitar and Vocals) alongside Phil Cunningham (Guitar) and Jake Evans (Guitar and Vocals). Their blend of youth, experience, local roots and musical futurism takes the band to a new level, with their debut album ‘Never Cry Another Tear’ released to critical acclaim in October 2009. Their second single ‘Twist Of Fate’ is due for worldwide release on the bands own imprint Triple Echo on 22nd March. Cream Easter Special @ Nation Saturday 3rd April Bank Holiday Weekend Cream hosts its first event of the year at Nation for its annual Easter mash up and have once again pulled together one of the hottest line ups you’ll see this year. Electro super producer Eric Prydz leads the proceedings in the Main Room, returning for yet another onslaught following his outstanding set at Cream’s 17th Birthday last year. Joining him will be Toolrooms head honcho Mark Knight. An artiste who has forged himself a reputation as one of the foremost house producers on the planet, whose co-production with Funkagenda of the Black Eyed Peas T.H.E. E.N.D album recently saw him nominated with a Grammy. They will be joined by Cream residents Gareth Wyn, Andy Mac and Anthony Probyn. Swedish House Mafia don Steve Angello is master of ceremonies as he brings a roster of talent together from his ‘Size’ label to host the Courtyard. Giving elder sibling Steve a run for his money and making his Cream debut is AN21, an exciting and fresh new talent who is already making waves in the studio having worked on a number of exciting productions.
