The O2 Academy Birmingham has moved to a new home at 16-18 Horsefair, Bristol Street, Birmingham moving from Dale End and taking over the premises of the old Dome nightclub.
The Academy is the largest performance area in the complex, and has a capacity of 3000. Situated below street level, the auditorium features a mezzanine-style balcony. The Academy 2 is a smaller room, and caters for audiences of up to 600. The Academy 3 is the smallest of the three stages, with a total capacity of 250. The Academy 3 is often used for pre- and after-show parties for events in the Academy.
