Australian singer-songwriter James Keogh, better known asVance Joy, will be playing a string of dates across the country this autumn.

His latest hit in the UK, 'Riptide' has also just been a hit in his native Australia, and a worldwide smash.

The past few weeks, has seen Vance Joy recording his debut album with Ryan Hadlock (The Lumineers) in his Bear Creek Studios, near Seattle, ready for release in 2014. "I've been in Seattle recording for my album, they actually have a tree house studio." A lover of the outdoors, he relished being 20ft up in the air, where he thrived in the unique recording space. "The time I spent here was really great. It was cool being able to live at the studio."

His tour dates are:

Wed 24 September King Tuts Wah Wah Hut, Glasgow
Thu 25 September Academy 2, Manchester
Fri 26 September Brudenell Social Club, Leeds
Sun 28 September The Institute, Birmingham
Mon 29 September Thekla, Bristol
Tue 30 September Concorde 2, Brighton
Wed 02 October O2 Shepherds Bush Empire, London

Prior to these dates, Vance Joy is coming to the UK in February, playing two SOLD OUT shows in London's Scala, and Manchester's Academy.

Tickets will be available from 10am on Friday, 31 January 2014, and eGigs will have links to buy them then.
