Despite the curtains of rain the queue for Friday night's Mungos Hi Fi gig at the Phoenix in Exeter filled the front stairs and spilled into the carpark. The bar was packed and jungle hop, provided by Unit 8 Soundsystem, filled the dance floor picking up the party vibe for the main performance in the auditorium, by midnight the building was packed.

Mungos delivered their usual high standard roots reggae and dub although a different crew than we'd seen at Sunrise, these guys can spread themselves across the nation as they were also playing in Norwich Friday night.

MC YT created the groove in Exeter with his easy flowing lyrical mastery, sadly Soom T from Renegade Masters was unable to join the fun, but we were not short changed. Followed by Vibration lab and Dr King keeping the dance grooving the
auditorium was filled with low down squiggling and wiggling.
Picking up the beat came Exeter's own Irie Bingo Cru with Blazenstein and Shire Roots. The dance factory kept us going 'til the early hours of the morning, a well contructed evening of dance and vibe thanks to Mungos Hi Fi, we hope to see you in Exeter again soon guys.
