Passion Pit have announced a UK tour in November and will be coming to Glasgow, Manchester, Cambridge, Birmingham and London.

Frontman Michael Angelakos spent time in a New York state mental hospital this year, brings his five piece electropop outfit from Cambridge, Massachusetts to Reading and Leeds Festivals to play their first UK shows in over two years over August Bank Holiday weekend.

The band, who released their critically-acclaimed second album 'Gossamer' last month (the follow up to the excellent debut album 'Manners'), will release new single 'Take A Walk' on Monday 17th September.

They will also embark on a UK tour in support of 'Gossamer' that will call at the following venues:

Tue 13 November Queen Margaret Union (QMU), Glasgow
Fri 16 November Manchester Academy, Manchester
Sun 18 November Junction, Cambridge
Mon 19 November HMV Institute, Birmingham
Tue 20 November HMV Forum, London

Tickets will be priced at £13.50 (£16 London) and go on sale at 9am on Friday 10th August 2012
