The 'outlaw entertainer' Willie Nelson has announced a pair of UK tour dates for June.

The 76-year-old country legend will play Manchester's O2 Apollo on Thursday 10th June and London's Hammersmith Apollo the next day.

'American Classic', released last year, was Nelson's latest album and solo debut on Blue Note Records, and presented a dozen classics from the Great American Songbook and featured guest appearances by Diana Krall and Norah Jones, plus jazz luminaries Christian McBride (bass), Joe Sample (piano), and Louis Nash (drums) and is rated as one the legend's best.

Tickets for Manchester are priced at £45, £38.50 and £30 and for London are priced at £55, £45 and £35. Tickets will go on sale at 9am on Friday, 12th March, and eGigs will have links to buy them then.
